2nd December 1999, ID Software released the third instalment of the series named Quake 3 Arena. A vibrant community used the games open tooling to create thousands of maps and mods (some of my favourites being RA3 and CPMA). I spent thousands of hours of my youth mastering the game.

In an era before streaming, community members created movies highlighting game play known as frag movies. Sites like own-age.com were the epicenter of creators showcasing their movies, tutorials and knowledge.

I studied video editing and always wanted to create my own movie so kept my game play footage. Fast forward 20 years and I finally achieved that goal.
